We left specifics open for the moment (we can shape a plan in the next week or two) but we did decide we’d do some research for next week:

Each of of us is looking for examples/models of experimental practices in education/pedagogy — mostly for designers and mostly higher ed — but we’ll use our judgement on that. Some prompts are:

New types of institutions

New types of programs

New types of classrooms

New models of learning/teaching whether in conventional institutions, on the internet, in homes, whatever.

Each sheet represents a single entity. Each sheet includes:

• Name of an institution, program, practice, etc. (if it has one)
• Classification (a school, a program, a way of teaching, a way of learning, etc.)
• Very brief description of what distinguishes the model  (a few words)
• Representative pic (if possible)

Send both of those to me next Tuesday before or after class.
